Information we collect

We may collect identity and contact details, billing and delivery information, account details, order and return history, communications, device and usage data, cookie identifiers, fraud-prevention information and marketing preferences. Payment card details are processed by Shopify and payment providers; we do not ordinarily receive the full card number.

How and why we use information

  • To take steps at your request and perform our contract, including checkout, payment, delivery, support, returns and account administration.
  • To comply with legal duties, including tax, accounting, product safety and consumer-law obligations.
  • For legitimate interests such as fraud prevention, service security, business administration, customer service and improving the store, where your rights do not override those interests.
  • With consent where required, including certain marketing and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Who receives information

We share information only as needed with Shopify, payment processors, suppliers and fulfilment partners, carriers, IT and hosting providers, customer-support and analytics providers, professional advisers, regulators and fraud-prevention services. Suppliers may receive the delivery details needed to fulfil an order. We do not sell your personal information for money.

International transfers

Some providers or fulfilment partners may process information outside the UK. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including legal, tax, accounting, warranty, fraud-prevention and dispute requirements. Retention periods vary by record type; order and accounting records are normally retained for at least the applicable statutory period.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase information, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Contact us first if possible so we can try to resolve the issue.

Cookies and marketing

We use necessary cookies to operate checkout and the store. Analytics, advertising and other non-essential technologies are used only in accordance with applicable consent requirements. You can use the store’s cookie controls and unsubscribe links. Marketing consent is separate from accepting this privacy notice.

Children

Our store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children who cannot lawfully enter a purchase contract.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. Questions and rights requests should be sent to support@ravemontwatches.com.
